The Township of Centre Wellington is the largest municipality in WellingtonCounty and one of the fastest growing communities in Ontario with about 26,000 residents. Centre Wellington was formed through the amalgamation of the Town of Fergus, Village of Elora, and parts of Nichol, Pilkington, West Garafraxa and EramosaTownships. North of the intersection of Highways 6 and 9 and across the ConestogaRiver is the Village of Arthur. Designated as "Canada's MostPatrioticVillage" this gateway to the Grand River Watershed is a great place to live, shop and play.  Established businesses are expanding and new ones are coming into Arthur.
