The Groves' Medical team consists of 22 Family Physicians, two full time General Surgeons, a Radiologist team (shared with Guelph General Hospital), a part-time Psychiatrist, two full-time General Internists and a full-time Obstetrics/Gynecology Specialist. Other visiting Specialists include G.I., ENT, Neurology, Urology, Geriatric Psychiatry and a pain clinic run by a Certified Anaesthetist.
Local Family Physicians provide 24/7 coverage for the Emergency Department under the MOHLTC Alternate Funding Program. Family physicians provide anaesthesia coverage and several physicians provide obstetrical/gynecology services with two physicians having additional OB/GYN skills and supported by an OB/GYN Specialist.
The Hospital includes a 3-bed monitored Special Care Unit plus 3 telemetry units and an active Emergency with full time coverage. Comprehensive specialties, CT and nuclear medicine are available in Guelph, which is 15 minutes away. Groves will be implementing CT in early 2009. A Regional Cancer Clinic, Cardiac Care Centre and MRI are available in Kitchener, which is 25 minutes away. Groves participates in a Regional Stroke Recovery Program. Groves provides oncology services as a satellite of the Grand River Cancer Centre.
Groves Memorial is formally affiliated with the Hamilton Health Sciences Corporation, including active involvement in training Family Practice Residents and Medical Students.
Groves Hospital has an Administrative Alliance with North Wellington Health Care and partners with NWHC for the provision of some services.

The Community Stakeholders Group for Health Professionals Recruitment and Retention offers complimentary weekend visits, including accommodation, transportation, meals, tours, entertainment and meetings with hospital Board Members, Senior Administrative Staff and local physicians, for physicians interested in relocating or setting up practice in the Centre Wellington area.
